What An Experience!!!

Hello Nikon Fans Everywhere!!!

Hello Nikon fans, I hope all of you are doing well! I recently had the opportunity of visiting the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg Florida, to see the Star Wars Power of the Costume event that’s going on right now. It was absolutely stunning, they had characters costumes such as Darth Sidious, Darth Vader, Yoda, Padme, Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, and many, many more!

The Darth Vader costume they had on display, was the one that Hayden Christensen wore in Revenge of the Sith, so it as pretty cool to be so close to that one for sure. They had the three droids, BB8, R2-D2, and C3P0 as well, it was pretty cool to see the concept art on their costumes, and to see the parts of the costumes they used too. One thing I didn’t know, was that R2-D2’s costume, who was played by Kenny Baker, well Kenny was inside the R2 unit during the movies, but his legs were down each side of R2-D2.

It was pretty much like sitting on a bicycle for Kenny Baker while being inside the R2-D2 costume, I knew that Kenny and even Jimmy Vee is inside the R2 unit, but seeing the concept art of leg placement and the whole “planning period” before they built the R2 unit was very interesting to me!

So, as you walk through this Museum, looking at the wickedly awesome Star Wars Costumes that are all out on display, you make your way around a corner and BAM, here lies this huge display of Jedi fighting a Sith! Darth Maul is in the center, Mace Windu (played by Samuel L. Jackson), Qui-Gon Jinn (played by Liam Neeson), Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by Ewan McGregor), and one other Jedi surrounded Darth Maul, and they had lightsabers that lit up too!

Not to mention, Darth Sidious was on display off to the side of this massive display as well! My fiancé took a lot of photos with her Nikon Coolpix P900 and I can’t wait to share them with you all. So without further ado, here are the photos she took with her Nikon Digital Camera, enjoy!

Another fun fact about one of Padme’s costumes, is that there were about 15-20 gold rope necklaces that were used as part of the costume! I took photos with my IPhone, if you’d like to compare, you will find those photos here at Star-Wars-Everything.com!

I would like to personally thank you for not only visiting MyNikonCameras.com, but for also reading my post about the Star Wars Power of the Costume event that is currently going on at the Museum of Fine Arts, in St. Petersburg Florida! Have you attended this event, or one like it? What costume did you like best? I’d love to hear your thoughts below, thanks again.

With Technology So Advanced These Days, What Type Of Shooter Are You?

Hello Again Nikon Fans All Over!!!

See for a person like me, when it comes to memory on your phone, mine is mostly taken up by music! So when a time comes that I would like to take a picture of something with my phone, I’m not able to take many due to the lack of memory.

But when I have my Nikon Coolpix P900 Digital Camera, I know that I have more than enough memory on the San Disk Memory Card that I have inside my camera! The Nikon D4S for example, is not as big and bulky as some of the other Nikon Models such as the Nikon D7000.

The innovators at Nikon and Canon and Sony and etc. have all been trying to incorporate the smartphone technology with the digital camera technology so that the only differences would be picture quality and the device your using to take the picture with!

Honestly though, pictures haven’t always been able to have been taken with a cell phone. They were taken with 35mm cameras before digital cameras were invented and became popular, so I understand that we’re just being upgraded with time and technology.

If your going to sit there and not use a digital camera to take pictures and use your phone instead, jut because you don’t want to have to carry the camera, that’s pure poppycock! All of the Nikon Models that I have on my site, all connect to Wi-Fi and allow you to share your photo’s instantly!

The zoom difference between a smartphone and a Nikon digital camera is ridiculous! The Nikon Coolpix P900 for instance has an 83x zoom. An 83 times zoom? Are you serious? Yes I am, and the pictures are crisp and clear too!

I’d like to see what you all think now! What’s your take on the matter? With Smartphones getting more advanced, I would think the cameras on the smartphones are getting better to a degree as well. But remember, you can’t attach a lens to your smartphone for better zoom!

I would like to personally thank you for not only visiting MyNikonCameras.com, but for also reading my post! What are your thoughts? Have you used the Nikon Coolpix P900? Did you like it? Have you used the Nikon D4S? What did you think about that model? I’d love to hear your feedback on this matter! Thanks Again!
